“When I make a film I’m always in reality among the trees, and among the people like yourselves. There’s no symbolic or conventional filter between me and reality as there is in literature. The cinema is an explosion of my love for reality.”
Pier Paolo Pasolini, born 90 years ago today.

As someone who once said this would never happen, I’m not surprised by the event. With a new flavor of CMOS based camera coming out every other week, that also deliver amazing results to anyone with a vision. Let’s not be angry with Canon, Sony and the lot of them. This is an exciting new era in cinema, with loads of discovery in sore for us all. So let’s skip the finger pointing, hold back the tears, and embrace an exciting new future.
